The museum features over 6,000 pieces of glassware made by the Cambridge Glass Company, with an interpretive area demonstrating how glass was made from gathering, shaping, etching, and engraving. The Sample Room features the door and shelving from the original factory, and a dining room display features a table setting arranged on period furniture much as it would have appeared in the early 1900s.

Two handsome National Historic Landmark buildings and the beautiful grounds provide a serene, park-like setting while still being centrally located in the city of Cincinnati.

The Chilo Lock #34 Visitor Center and Museum is located on the site of a former US Army Corps of Engineers lock and dam. The lock and dam was in operaion from 1925-1964. In 2005, the former operations building was renovated and converted into a visitor center and museum.
To choose violence and conflict is easy. Pick up a gun. Drop a bomb. Ignore the rights of others. To choose peace is more difficult. The arsenal of peace has no weapons but nonviolence, compassion, faith, and reason.
If peace is to be a viable alternative in a world inundated with violence, the message of peace must have constant presence. It needs to be available to those who would choose and work for peace, but who often feel alone or defeated.
