Mission StatementThe mission of the U.S. Navy Seabee Museum is to stand the watch over the legacy of the “Can do!” spirit for the U.S. Navy Seabees and the Civil Engineer Corps of the Navy, veterans, and the public.
HistoryEstablished in 1947 by Seabees, and the second oldest U.S. Navy museum, the CEC/Seabee museum Built by three generations of Seabees, the museum is housed in two World War II era quonset huts, a Vietnam era wing, and a Gulf War era warehouse.
Artifacts CollectionsDisplays on awe-inspiring collection of U.S. Navy uniforms, weapons, art and memoriabilia. The collection also includes artifacts from Seabee travels on all seven continents and a myriad of islands throughout the world.
Research CollectionsThe Naval Facilities Engineering Command Archives are co-located with the CEC/Seabee Museum. They house 13,000 linear feet of records, photos and film pertaining to the Seabees and the Civil Engineer Corps since 1941.
