Mission Statement

The Camp Walton Schoolhouse Museum is an educational museum with a mission to foster a deeper understanding of the one-room schoolhouse in Northwest Florida, stimulate and encourage the collection, preservation and interpretation of the schoolhouse through educational programs and historical activities, network with appropriate individuals and institutions on the local and regional level in projects and activities which promote and sustain an interest in the history of the one-room school, and to provide public access to the schoolhouse on a regular basis.
