Description

Our museum houses the collections of many people. There are things which will interest people of all ages. We hope to continue in the spirit of the founder and add to the collection at the Board sees fit. The major projects on agenda for now is up dating the grounds and working on some of the needed repairs. We are also exploring ways to increase attendance.

History

Our museum was founded by Earnest and Dorthy Barrow in 1976. They wanted to have a place where they could share their extensive collection, which was acquired in their travels, with the public. They set it up as a non-profit foundation with a board of directors to govern it. That would allow it to continue after their deaths. As they aquired more items, they built more buildings. Today we have 3 major building and their home for people to tour.

The collection consists of geological specimens from around the world, Indian points and artifacts from all over the USA, Glassware, Figurines(Hummels and others), furniture, appliances, war memoriblia, stuffed animals, older cars, farm equipment, musical instruments, Medical and dental equipment, and seashells.
