Description

Goal of the Camp Grant Museum is to educate the young and to keep the history of men and women who lived, worked and defended our country during the Camp's existence for future generations to remember. Friends of Camp Grant meet every other month staring in January, third Thursday. Our purpose is to enjoy the comraderie of sharing our interest and knowledge with a whole group of people who wish to preserve the memory of Camp Grant. Night of odd months.

History

The building is an original building of Camp Grant the back section was one of the three fire houses during the end of world war I. during world war II era the front section was added for a reception center for the men who arrived by train and was mustered out to other Camps or worked at the Camp or later decommissioned out of Camp Grant after the war.
