Description

The Hawkeye Log Cabin Museum local high on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi River.

The Crapo Park Hawkeye Log Cabin offers a glimpse of the simpler life of early settlers in Iowa. Located in beautiful Crapo Park in the south east corner of Burlington, Iowa, the cabin has been open to the public since 1971. Originally built in 1909, the cabin was used as a meeting place for the Hawkeye Natives Association.
