Description

The Frost Art Museum complements its exhibitions with a wide range of regionally unique and nationally recognized educational programs. For over 25 years the Steven and Dorothea Green Critics' Lecture Series has presented audiences with an array of internationally renowned artists, critics, curators and scholars including such contemporary luminaries as Richard Serra, Maya Lin, Claes Oldenburg, Linda Nochlin and John Cage among many others.

The Frost Art Museum’s Target Wednesday After-Hours programming is designed to complement the Museum’s exhibitions and give visitors the chance to engage with the contemporary and confront the controversial via gallery talks, visiting artist lectures, films, live music and performance art.

The Frost Art Museum's education programs, designed to nurture and increase each participant's knowledge of art, honor our mission to serve audiences of all ages, means and backgrounds, including the culturally diverse FIU community and residents of and visitors to South Florida. The Frost Art Museum develops a significant series of public programs in conjunction with the major exhibitions it borrows and organizes each year. In addition the Frost Art Museum offers tours of exhibitions and the Sculpture Park at FIU.

The new Frost Art Museum is a work of art; Call us for a tour. You’ll see what we mean. Some membership levels include discounts for facility rentals, allowing you to use the Frost as the perfect backdrop for your events.
