A 152-acre nature preserve and education center with 1.5 miles of walking trails. The center boasts two treehouses, two green buildings, a spotting scope, birds of prey, nature exhibits and The Nest gift shop.

To unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

Founded in 1975 as one of the first nature centers in the western United States, the Ogden Nature Center was started by a grassroots group of individuals who wanted to preserve a little open space in the city while teaching the youth of our community about the natural world. Today the Nature Center sees over 27,000 visitors and students each year through field trips, summer camps, community programs and special events.
