The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until sunset year round with the Gardens open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Mission

To provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources.

History

The Gardens were developed between 1923 and 1953, when they were donated to the State of Florida to become a State Park. The property is on the National Register of Historic Places.
