Description
The Overfalls Maritime Museum Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of one of America's last remaining lightships, the Lightship Overfalls, docked in the Lewes/Rehoboth Canal in historic Lewes, Delaware. The "Overfalls" was built in 1938 and was the last lightship to be commissioned by the U.S. Lighthouse Services as the LV (light vessel) 118. The Overfalls is open for tours during the summer, and has a merchandise for sale onboard in the Ship's Store.
