History

The Morrison House, circa 1760, is one of the few pre-revolutionary homes existing in Londonderry and it is considered to be a landmark. It was originally owned by a well known and respected Londonderry family, the Morrisons, who came to Nutfield (Londonderry) in 1719.

The New England Quilt Museum is a showplace for both antique and contemporary quilts. Bringing together the best of both traditional folk art and contemporary fiber art, the museum is a celebration of the artform. Exhibitions range from a show by modernist artists to historic quilts from the 18th and 19th centuries. The museum is also a gathering place for quilters of all styles and levels.
