We have a professionally-designed gallery, with 14 interactive and themed exhibits. We wanted vistors to say "Wow" upon entering the gallery, and they do! They are greeted by a Civil War era log cabin that tells the story of a Medal of Honor recipient, Ernest Childers of Broken Arrow, and 3 generations of his family.

TASM opened to the public in 1998 in a 1940's era hangar owned by the Spartan School of Aeronautics. The museum chronicles the Tulsa area's rich aerospace history specifically and Oklahoma in general. Not only is it a history museum but we also conduct daily classes to teach children about math and science and its relationship to aviation.
