Atlantic Center for the Arts is a nonprofit interdisciplinary artists-in-residence community and arts education facility dedicated to promoting artistic excellence. Talented artists are provided an opportunity to work and collaborate with some of the world's most distinguished contemporary artist in the fields of composing, and visual, literary and performing arts. Community interaction is coordinated through on-site and outreach presentations, workshops and exhibitions.

The Southeast Volusia Historical Society was organized in 1982, as a not for profit organization, to promote a formal means by which individuals intereted in historical studies in the Southeast Volusia Area may congregate for their mutual benefit; to promote the continuing study of the cultures of the Southeast Volusia area from ancient time to present and to bring to the attention of the general public and approproiate govermental agencies the continuing importance of preserving historical sites within Southeast Volusia County.
