The Elliott Museum celebrates creativity, ingenuity and innovation. Namesake, Sterling Elliott, invented things that impact and enhance our lives even today. A social reformer, he was also a civil rights and women's rights activist as well as a lobbyist. The Elliott preserves local and Florida history and houses the largest collection of signed baseball memorabilia outside of Cooperstown.

The Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center is located on Hutchinson Island. Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon, the 57 acre parcel houses the Society's headquarters, nature trails, 750,000-gallon Game Fish Lagoon, Children's Activity Pavilion, Sea Star Touch-Tank Pavilion, Rays on the Reef Ray Pavilion and the Frances Langford Visitor's Center.

One of ten Houses of Refuge built by the U.S. Treasury Department in 1876, this is the only one that remains. Today it stands as a museum celebrating early peoples, life saving efforts, shipwrecks and military service. Re-creation of rooms depicting life at the House around the turn of the century. Exhibits of Ais Indians, shipwrecks and military servive are also displayed.

The Maritime & Classic Boating Museum of Florida was incorporated in 1993 and opened to the public in 1995, moving to its home in 2003. Easily accessed by land or sea, via the south fork of the St. Lucie River, MCBM with its own marina, was located in a small cottage on Kanner Highway, along with a boat restoration facility.
