The Cresco Station Museum: The society has regular programs at the Cresco Station Museum. From Memorial Day to Columbus Day, there is a monthly performance by local muscians and an Ice Cream Social. The museum is also the site of an Art's and Craft's Exhibit on the second Sunday of each month. Local Artists and Crafters display and sell their work. Exhibits change periodically.

Fonthill Museum

Built between 1908-1912, Fonthill was the home of Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930). Archaeologist, anthropologist, ceramist, scholar and antiquarian, Mercer built Fonthill both as his home and as a showplace for his collection of tiles and prints. The first of three Mercer buildings in Doylestown, Fonthill served as a showplace for Mercer's famed Moravian tiles that were produced during the American Arts & Crafts Movement. Designed by Mercer, the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles, and is significant as an early example of poured reinforced concrete.

We are locals who have lived here all of our lives, out-of-stater's who have roots in the area, and newcomers who want to learn more about the place we now call home.

Bayernhof Museum

the latter part of his life, Charles Brown III developed a passion for collecting old, rare automatic musical instruments. That collection is now part of the Bayernhof Museum. His collection is displayed in almost every room in the house. There are many antique music boxes, “monkey” organs, a Wurlitzer carousel organ, a Reproduco Piano-Pipe organ used in funeral homes and theaters, an Encore Automatic Banjo. There is also a Mills Deluxe Violano Virtuoso player violin and piano combination, a Knabe Ampico reproducing grand piano that faithfully “reproduces” the playing of the artist who originally recorded the roll and a huge Seeburg Pipe Organ Orchestra that was once used to accompany silent films to name just a few.

Friends of the Robesonia Furnace

The Robesonia Furnace operated from 1794 to 1927 making pig iron. The Friends of the Robesonia Furnace operate a small musuem in what was the original Robesonia Furnace Firehouse.The musuem contains displays on the furnace operation and the town of Robesonia.

The Society Library will open for the season on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Volunteers will be on hand to help patrons with research projects on local history,genealogy and the Civil War. The Library will then be open for regular hours on Wednesdays from April through November from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM. The Museum will officially open for tours on Saturday May 7 with its annual Open House. This is a rare opportunity to tour the museum on a weekend day.
